Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates and experienced Plant Power Personnel to fill in the under-listed vacancies. The graduate job vacancy in Nigeria is for candidates that have experience in Gas/LPFO based large capacity gensets. The vacant positions are listed below.
MANAGER/SR. ENGINEER-ELECTRICAL
The candidate should possess an HND/B.Engg with 8-15 years experience in O&M of power plants. Must have thorough knowledge of load sharing techniques, PLC, SCADA systems and control logics. Must have worked on HV/MV systems and have hands-on experience on electrical sub-systems such as LT/HT breakers. Exposure to erection/commissioning/servicing in large power plants will be an added advantage.
SHIFT ENGINEERS-MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL
The candidate should preferably be an HND with 5-10 years experience in independent power house operations. Must have thorough knowledge on the periodic monitoring of the various critical equipments and record keeping. Should be able to plan for spares/consumables, and supervise shift operators in case of emergency maintenance calls on the engines and auxiliaries.
SHIFT OPERATORS/FITTERS
The candidate should preferably possess an ND in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years experience in the O&M/servicing/overhauling of large power plants based on reciprocating engines. Must be conversant with wire guage standards and the use of hydraulically operated tools/tackles and precision measuring instruments.
NB: This graduate job vacancy in Nigeria is more suitable for candidates with experience in large companies, such as FMCG, Metallurgical, Chemical and Pharmaceutical.
